In many cultures, Elephants are symbols of luck and prosperity, and are often marveled at for their long life expectancies and impressive memories. Behavioral studies have suggested that Elephants also have an astounding level of emotional intelligence, especially in regards to their relationships with their chosen humans (comparable to the bond between people and their household puppies or kittens- that's right; they think we're cute :').
